I'm reading more than one book at the moment, which is pretty typical for me of late. Read a decent amount of books in 2009. Primarily because I worked through several reprints of the Doc Savage and Shadow pulps by Lester Dent and Walter B. Gibson. Sanctum Productions publishes the novels once a month, collecting two (and sometimes three), reproducing original art and original covers. Occasionally, the editors restore cut material. Cable went out right after the eulogy, so we missed Criminal Minds last night. There was much gnashing of teeth. :-/

Following last night's premiere of The Vampire Diaries, the CW aired the fifth season premiere of Supernatural. While TVD was as cheesy as I expected--but worth a few good laughs--"Sympathy for the Devil" offered a quadruple helping of chills and thrills.

I really enjoyed the miniseries this past week, and news from Comic-Con is the BBC renewed the show for a full season next year.

And the DVD for Children of Earth comes out Tuesday at a surprisingly reasonable price. :-)

I just started watching this series again, courtesy of Hulu, which has the first two seasons available for streaming. I enjoyed the original back when I was kid, primarily catching them in reruns back then.
